About

Hi, I’m Achal. I work on backend systems and spend most of my time understanding why things break.

I got into this pretty randomly. I installed Linux once, broke my system a few times, and kept trying to fix it. That’s how I got interested in how things work underneath.

Now I work as a DevOps Intern at Delhivery, dealing with Kubernetes, cloud systems, and debugging issues when things don’t behave as expected.

I tend to go deeper into problems, even after they’re fixed.

This site is where I keep things I’ve built and learned.

What I'm Doing

Updated: 4/26/2026

  • Reading *Computer Systems: A Programmer’s Perspective* to build a better understanding of how things work at a lower level.
  • Working on a small audio normalizer in C to explore systems programming and how programs interact with memory and data.
  • Exploring ideas for a CLI-based personal library assistant, and figuring out how to make natural language interaction actually useful in a terminal workflow.
